Participants, workshop and competition
The participants were given a workshop before the competition to learn the interesting topics they signed up for that they were going to compete in. The staff were pretty dedicated here and it was interesting to see how the course progressed
The competition was pretty tough with many of the participants getting very close scores and not one even managing to solve over half of the problems. Despite this it reminds me of real time impromptu coding and security challenges quite commonly portrayed in series like the betas and games like watch dog 2 where communities of developers and security professionals compete to solve problems.
